Maria Elena Townsend helps you make your dreams come true. Originally from Colombia, I came to the United States more than three decades ago. I’ve been in the real-estate industry for 6 years. It is my passion, for there is no better feeling than helping people to make their dream of owning a home come true.
At some time, almost everyone dreams of owning a home. But the process can be difficult to understand and navigate. That is my role; I guide my clients through the process. Some of the questions to answer are how to negotiate a price that you can afford. How long can the process take? What factors other than cost should you consider? Where to look? How do you obtain loans from banks or other lenders? Those are just the start. My role is to answer these and other questions for you, and often to suggest other questions that you might not think of.
As a realtor, my only interest is to help you turn your individual dream of buying a home into a reality. What’s right for someone else may not be right of you. So I have to listen carefully to your hopes and make other suggestions to guide your through the process. This requires a high level of communication, attention to detail, and negotiation skills. It also can help to have my detailed knowledge of the Hispanic market around Houston. But we will be in the process together. My thrill is attending a closing where a family receives the keys to their dream home.
